Strain the strawberries and cut them into large pieces. Squeeze the lemon. Tear the basil leaves.
1 Pour the strawberries and lemon juice into a saucepan and add the gelling sugar. Mix well.
2 Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes over high heat. Add basil at the end of cooking.
3 Divide the jam into 4 jars and close them immediately. Flip the jars and let them cool.
