Cut the flesh of half melon into wedges. Detail the roasted peppers in thin strips. Crumble the goat cheese. Roughly chop the pecans (for your convenience, put them in a plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin or a glass bottle). Press the equivalent of 1 c. lemon juice.
1 Spread the salad on the plates.
2 Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and brown the melon quarters until they are nicely zebra on both sides. Arrange them on the salad.
