  • 4 oranges
  • 125 ml thick cream
  • 50 g butter
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 3 dl milk
  • 1 egg
  • 200 g flour
  • 15 g sugar
  • 5 g dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon tablespoons of impalpable sugar
  • 8 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to prepare orange Pancakes recipe

Melt 50 g butter in a skillet over low heat. Beat the egg with the milk, the dry yeast, the salt and the thick cream in a salad bowl. Incorporate the flour and sugar, then the melted butter. Cover the salad bowl with a kitchen towel and let it rest for 30 minutes at room temperature. In the meantime, squeeze 2 oranges. Heat the maple syrup in a pan and add the orange juice. Reduce for a few moments, then let cool. Peel the remaining oranges raw (to the flesh) and cut each into 6 thin slices.
1. Cook the pancakes in 2 times. Melt 1 tbsp. butter in large skillet and pour in 6 servings (count ± 2 tbsp batter per pancake). Place 1 slice of orange on each serving. Return the pancakes when the dough is almost cooked and continue cooking until the pancakes are golden brown.
2. Melt 1 tsp. butter in the pan and cook 6 more pancakes with their slices of orange.
